Kootenai Tells Its Story Anew—With Help from Local Creatives
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 10, 2025
Kootenai, ID — The City of Kootenai has launched a new website and refreshed community brand, created in collaboration with burnett media group, a local creative agency based in East Hope, Idaho. The new site—now live at cityofkootenai.org—is designed to be more useful, welcoming, and reflective of Kootenai’s roots and future.
“This project wasn’t just about technology—it was about connection,” said Mayor Nancy Lewis. “We wanted a site that would make life easier for residents and reflect who we are. Greg and his team helped us get there.”
The project was led by greg burnett, founder of burnett media group, who lives in East Hope with his wife and business partner ludmila neaga-burnett, their 2-year-old son Jadon, and their dogs—Jeff, Frank, and Madi. Greg’s family has lived in North Idaho for nearly 150 years, and his father Don, a proud Sandpoint Bulldog from the Class of 1960, still spends a lot of time with them. “This one felt close to home,” said Greg.
