Due to the restraints to the streets and roads within the City for stormwater drainage, the City streets and roads are very narrow. Parking on the streets causes unsafe traffic flow throughout the City. Crowded streets prevent emergency vehicles from getting to their calls and may endanger lives. The City understands that there are instances where temporary parking on streets is necessary due to visitors or special occasions you may be celebrating. We ask that parking be as far off of the streets and roads as possible and a consideration of traffic flow be respected. Please be advised that streets are not to be used for permanent parking. If a vehicle is reported to be steadfast for more than three days, the property owner will be sent a violation notice and may be subject to penalty. PLEASE BE KIND TO YOUR NEIGHBORS. WORK OUT SAFE PARKING PLANS WITH YOUR NEIGHBORHOODS. THANK YOU.
